COVID-19 Guest Information

Guest Notice

The UK Priminister, Boris Johnson, has said that self-catering accommodation can hopefully reopen in the UK from the 12th April 2021 after being forced to close due to the third coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

We understand this is a tricky time for everyone, which is why we have done everything we can to help make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible.

The Proprietor, Shirley has said the following:

“One of the effects of the pandemic is that we have made certain changes to the usual ways in which we welcome our guests. We hope that these will help you to feel safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy every minute of your holiday.

“In normal times, our cleaning regime ensures the highest standards, but we now have to carry out extra sanitising and disinfection procedures. To give us plenty of time for this, we have changed our arrival and departure times slightly, to 3pm and 9.30am.

“All bedding, duvets, blankets, pillows and cushions will be rotated for every changeover so that there will be a week for everything to be washed and aired ready for the next guests. However, if you would prefer to bring your own linen/pillows etc., please do. Perhaps you would let us know in advance if this is the case.

“It would be greatly appreciated if you would strip the bed before you leave, and place linen plus towels etc., in the black bags that we will provide for the purpose.

“Our home is adjacent to Little Granville, and we are always available, whether by email, phone or text, or in person, to help you with any concerns that you might have during your stay.”

We’re Good To Go

As well as giving you our word, we have also applied, and successfully obtained, the ‘We’re Good To Go Industry Standard’ from Visit England.

Acquiring the Industry Standard mark means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Below is a copy of our certificate.
