Welcome to our

Isle of Wight Self-catering Cottage

Little Granville Self-Catering enjoys views across the beautiful countryside on the Isle of Wight and is a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths from close to the cottage, great if you enjoy these activities. But if you prefer the more relaxed approach, you can lounge out on the decked area with a glass of wine, and take in the scenery. The cottage is only a short drive away from the nearby towns and villages of Whitwell, Niton, Chale, Ventnor, Godshill & Rookley, which is great if you are visiting friends and relatives nearby. On the outskirts of the village, Little Granville is within a 5-minute drive of the nearest local pub, the White Horse Inn.

GUEST NOTICE

One of the effects of the pandemic is that we have made certain changes to the usual ways in which we welcome our guests. We hope that these will help you to feel safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy every minute of your holiday.

In normal times, our cleaning regime ensures the highest standards, but we now have to carry out extra sanitising and disinfection procedures. To give us plenty of time for this, we have changed our arrival and departure times slightly, to 3pm and 9.30am.

All bedding, duvets, blankets, pillows and cushions will be rotated for every changeover so that there will be a week for everything to be washed and aired ready for the next guests. However, if you would prefer to bring your own linen/pillows etc., please do. Perhaps you would let us know in advance if this is the case.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would strip the bed before you leave, and place linen plus towels etc., in the black bags that we will provide for the purpose.

Our home is adjacent to Little Granville, and we are always available, whether by email, phone or text, or in person, to help you with any concerns that you might have during your stay.

Discover the Isle of Wight

There is so much to do on the Isle of Wight from events to attractions, but if you find time just to sit and relax then you are more than welcome to spend time in the garden of Ford Farm House. This is a continuing projectwith new plans for it always in mindbut we receive many compliments and we hope you will enjoy it too.

One of our main missions is to make a wildlife-friendly home to help the environment. When we first arrived, the garden was just laid with lawn which was very uninteresting. Since then we have added many shrubs, bushes and small trees which the birds, butterflies and bees love and we see many different species every year.

Guest Reviews

Little Granville is just that – a compact cottage with lovely views over the local farm’s fields to St Catherine’s Down. It’s perfectly designed & laid-out for two people, clean & modern & homely, quiet & relaxing & well looked-after. Local pubs do good food. Highly recommended!

Excellent location and well appointed and comfortable accommodation. Ideal for those wanting peace and quiet. Not surprised to find it is fully booked and just delighted to have found a single free week.

We have enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable cottage. This is an ideal spot, nowhere is too far on the island. We particularly enjoyed the Needles area and the Victorian splendor of Ventnor. Malthouse Manor, National Trust is excellent.
